WG Tourism
Tasks
The Trilateral Wadden Sea Cooperation (TWSC) is working towards sustainable tourism under the umbrella of the
Wadden Sea World Heritage Site tourism strategy. A Task group and expert groups have been implemented, elaborating
a tourism development strategy as well as a marketing and communication strategy. Furthermore, an action plan and
a communication and marketing program for the coming years have been launched.
The WSF as stakeholder organisation is going to actively contribute to the implementation of the strategies and
communication and marketing programs.
Sustainable tourism is a common task of the TWSC and the stakeholders in the WSR and will be jointly elaborated
and implemented.
