The Wadden Sea -
World Heritage Site

At the end of June 2009, UNESCO
placed the Wadden Sea on the
World Heritage List. This puts the
Wadden Sea on the same footing as other world famous natural wonders on the World Heritage List like the Grand Canyon in the USA, the Serengeti in East-Africa and the
Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
